Anonymous asked : opinions on the big comeback, voguing and the entire stage presence as a whole? :) take care!

I think voguing is really unique and it looked really cool because of all the sharp movements. Especially for Eric, probably because he lost a lot of weight as well, the suits he wears and his actions accentuate his physique so well. Voguing probably came off a little feminine and weird for everyone and I half expected Hyesung to burst out laughing because of his coordination and some of the freestyle moves that he does but they all looked really serious and into the dance, so I thought that lifted their stage presence quite a bit.

I loved how they incorporated the music into the dance where Minwoo matched his arm movements to the piano instrumental and Hyesung kinda playing a human piano, if yall know what I’m saying?

I think it’s good that they’re sourcing for alternatives as compared to the more conventional and upbeat kpop music from younger bands to differentiate themselves. I think voguing put them on a whole new level aside from conventional dances and the entire performance is really charismatic. I like the song - it’s not UPBEAT upbeat, but I don’t really like upbeat music anyway.

“We live for this love” is a pretty catchy line, and I initially thought it was going to be fan-related but I guess not. I like the tune a lot though and I think they used one of their best techniques: having Hyesung end the song. Musically it’s extremely clever because of the tone of his voice, and I really like the more somber ending and how apt Hyesung’s arm movements are to end the song. Damn that guy has amazing physique.

The MV I felt was slightly disappointing though. I thought the girl’s appearances served no purpose other than to fit the context of the lyrics but it was really random, and I thought the shots changed too frequently at some parts, especially when there was light in the background and it kept changing and we ended up with these frequent lens flares.

I’m really proud of them though /sigh I think it’s a fresh concept for them and I applaud them for managing to stand out even after so long.

Take care, anon! Tell me what you guys think :)

(PS/Anyone thinks Jinnie resembles Jo In Sung a lot with his new MV haircut? It’s probably the face though. Wonder why I’ve never thought so before.)
